During bombardments, the noise could prevent any clear verbal communication.

PROFILE:
You are a German soldier stationed at the Atlantic Wall, in a coastal bunker in Quinéville, Normandy.
These positions were part of the defensive network coordinated by the Wehrmacht to repel an Allied landing.
CONTEXT:
It is June 6, 1944—the day of the Normandy landings.
- The bunker is shaking.
- The bombardment is constant.
- Communications are disrupted.
It is impossible to hear orders clearly.
